Welcome to Lake Beaumont – Big carp fishing at it’s best

A beautiful spring fed 7 ½ acre French carp lake, set in 15 acres of mature land situated in the picturesque Dordogne.
Lake Beaumont is situated in the Dordogne region of south west France and is ideal for carp fishing holidays. We offer carp and catfish fishing of the best quality in our fully stocked, peaceful and quiet lake.
Lake Beaumont is a English run family business all sharing the passion for fishing and food. It is set in a beautiful, tranquil area of the Isle Valley in The Dordogne. This 7 ½ acre lake offers some great fishing with carp over 50lb and catfish up to 100Ib.
We offer fantastic carp fishing holidays at our well-stocked, peaceful lake in the south of France.
We welcome those fishermen who like to Drive N Survive, or we can collect you from Bergerac Airport.
You can hire tackle and bait boats at very reasonable prices. You can also have your food (breakfast and evening meal) provided and delivered to your peg.

History
The lake was establish and untouched for 30 years as a black bass lake, we have now owned the lake for the past 7 years and have completely drained and cleaned out the lake, making sure there are no snags and foreign objects.

Lake Stock
When we drained the lake in spring 2007, all small stock was removed and given to local fisheries, the remaining large stock that was put back are as follows, Catfish 100Ib plus, Zander up to 20Ib, Carp 50Ib plus (Leather, Grass, Mirror, Linear, Common Carp) and Black Bass up to 7Ib, our stock level at the moment stands at approx 150 fish. 

Minimum line 8 kg
All rigs accepted except fixed rigs
Unhooking matts to be used at all times
No unattended rods
No litter
No swimming
No pets allowed
No camp fires or disposable BBQ’s
No fish to be taken away from this lake. All fish to be returned to the water alive
Bait boats and boats are allowed. We have a boat which can be hired for the day at 5 euros per person. Life jacket will be provided and must be worn when using the boat
Main gate will be locked between the hours of 9.00pm until 8.00am
We expect the highest standards of behavior from our guests whilst on our property. We reserve the right to take appropriate action to remove any such person(s) not complying with our rules, terms and conditions
