Born Pond – Clairvivre
The Born–Clairvivre pond is located in the town of Salagnac, in the department of Dordogne (24), in the New Aquitaine region. It is bordered by the 450-hectare Born State Forest. The entire forest massif is to be discovered. After its impoundment in 2012, a major effort to release fish was made by the Federation, the site's fish farming manager. Many roach, tench, pike, perch, zander, black-bass and very beautiful carp have been introduced into this body of water to satisfy practitioners of all appropriate fishing techniques.

Only baits and vegetable or vegetable-based baits are authorized. any carp captured from half an hour after sunset until half an hour before sunrise cannot be kept in captivity or transported and must be returned to the water. Fishing is authorized all year round using a maximum of 3 lines. Fishing from the dike of the body of water is prohibited. The federal card "plan d'eau 24" at 20€ is compulsory on this site.
