The Bois-Joli reservoir
The Bois-Joli reservoir is located in the town of Pleurtuit , in the department of Ille-et-Vilaine (35) , in the Brittany region. This large body of water of 60 hectares located on the Frémur, allows fishing in reservoir just a few kilometers from the sea . The Frémur is a small river serving as the limit between Ille-et-Vilaine and Côtes-d'Armor. One can find a good density of predators there (the population of zander is particularly abundant there) as well as white fish and common and mirror carp of intermediate size. The 2 other bodies of water, located downstream, the Pont ès Omnes (33 hectares) and the Pont Avet (38 hectares) are shallower but allow the same types of fishing. Three other smaller ponds, the Dick (1.5 hectares), the Garde (1.8 hectares) and the Moulin Neuf (3 hectares) also allow predator and white fish fishing.

Only baits of vegetable origin and those whose composition includes vegetable flour (boilies / pellets) are authorized. From half an hour after sunset until half an hour before sunrise, no carp caught by anglers can be kept in captivity or transported. Fishing rods, the number of which is fixed at a maximum of 4 per fisherman, must be placed in a battery near the fisherman. The transport of live carp over 60 centimeters is prohibited at all times. Prohibition to travel with motorized vehicles on service roads and towpaths, to make fires, to camp without the authorization of the administration or the neighboring owners; Only shelters of the "bivvy" type are authorized.
