Le Linéaire - Nord - Parcours Pêche de Nuit is located in the Nord department (59), in the Hauts-De-France region. The Nord department is rich in rivers and in extremely diverse environments ranging from wild landscapes to natural meadows, stretching from the North Sea and going up towards the foothills of the Ardennes (08). The North is surrounded by several departments: Aisne (02) and Pas-de-Calais. It borders with Belgium, and shares with it, several large river basin districts such as the Scheldt, the Lys and the Sambre which cross the southern and northern departments. The Nord department offers great fishing opportunities and has a good fish density of predators (pike perch, pike, perch, black-bass, catfish), white fish (roach, bream, rudd, tench) and a remarkable population of carp. common areas and mirrors that can reach considerable weights. It is a real paradise for both novice and seasoned anglers.

The installation of biwys on the outbuildings of the public fluvial domain must be the subject of a prior authorization issued by the Territorial Direction of the Navigable Ways of France of Nord-Pas-de-Calais. The use of a green or red lamp is prohibited in order to avoid any confusion with the navigation lights. For reasons of noise pollution, the use of a sound button detector has been prohibited from half an hour after sunset to half an hour before sunrise within 50 meters of homes. Night fishing for carp is prohibited on the unloading, docking and lockage areas of the boats, as well as in all the backwaters and discharge arms.
